The Plumber You Call Is the Plumber Who Shows Up
A lot of plumbing companies send whoever's on the schedule. You meet a different tech every visit, and some of them are paid partly on what they sell you. It's hard to know whether you got the fix you needed or the one that paid best.
There's one plumber here. That changes how the whole visit works:
- You call or text me. If I'm under a sink or driving, I'll text you back with a real day and time.
- I text you 10 to 15 minutes before I get there. No waiting around all day wondering.
- I look at the problem and tell you what I see. Then I do the work myself.
- I clean up before I leave. Usually more than the mess I made.
"Adam was on time and professional. To have a contractor show up on time and on budget is an amazing feeling. Don't lose this plumber!"
What Do You Need Help With?
Water Heater Repair and Replacement: No Hot Water or a Leaking Tank
A rusty puddle under the tank, a relief valve that keeps dripping, or water that never gets hot. Sometimes a water heater needs a part, not a new tank, and I'll find out which before we talk about replacement. If it's past repair, you'll get the price for a new one before I start.

Faucet, Shower and Toilet Replacement
This is the work where the details show. I'll install a fixture you picked out, or one I get from a plumbing supply house, and I'll tell you up front how that choice affects what I can stand behind.

Toilet Repair: A Toilet That Runs, Won't Fill, or Won't Stop
Most running toilets don't need replacing. A lot of the time I can take the tank off, rebuild it, and have it back together the same visit.

Water Filtration and Treatment: Iron Stains, Hard Water and Drinking Water
Well water that stains the tub, a letter from your town about your water line, or you just want to know what's coming out of the tap. I test first, explain the results in plain English, and recommend only what your water needs: reverse osmosis, whole-home filtration, softeners, iron removal, and repairs or filter changes on systems you already have.

Leak Repair, Frozen Pipes and Everything Else
I also handle leaks and pipe repair, frozen pipes, sump pump installation, garbage disposals, full shower installs, and the plumbing for bathroom and kitchen remodels. If you don't see your problem here, call or text and tell me what's going on.
If a Repair Will Do It, That's What I'll Recommend
The easiest way to make more money on a plumbing call is to replace things. A running toilet becomes a new toilet. A dripping faucet becomes a new faucet.
I'd rather fix it. It costs you less, and it saves us both the extra trips to measure, pick up and haul in something new.
When replacement really is the better call, like a cracked toilet or a fixture that's worn past saving, I'll show you what failed and why. You make the decision with the same information I have.
Upfront Pricing, No Surprises
Whether the job is big or small, you'll know the price before I start, and there won't be any surprises at the end.
"We've now had the pleasure of using our neighbor's plumbing business twice… He is quick to respond, honest, kind, professional, and very fair with his pricing."
Finished Like My Name Is on It
I finish every job to a standard most people only notice when it's missing, and I leave the space cleaner than I found it.

A New Name, Not a New Plumber
I started Tedstone Plumbing & Heating in 2025, but I've been in the trade since high school and started my apprenticeship in 2015. I hold journeyman and master plumber licenses in Massachusetts, and my master license covers gas fitting too.

Plumbing Across Central Massachusetts
Towns I serve: Templeton, including Baldwinville, East Templeton, Otter River and Templeton Center, plus Gardner, Winchendon, Westminster, Hubbardston, Phillipston, Athol, Barre, Princeton, Sterling, Leominster and Clinton. Not sure you're in range? Give me a call.
A lot of homes in these towns run on private wells, which is why iron, hardness and water treatment come up on so many calls. Town water has its own questions. Massachusetts water systems have been inventorying the pipes that connect homes to the main, and homeowners whose line is lead, galvanized, or simply unknown have been getting letters about it. An "unknown" letter usually means the town has no record of the material, not that it found lead.
Got one of those letters? I don't replace service lines; that takes a contractor set up for digging to the street. But if you want to cut down on lead at the tap while you sort it out with your water department, a certified filter is something I can help with.
When It Can't Wait
Water coming through a ceiling or pouring from a pipe? Shut off your main water valve if you can reach it safely, stay away from wet light fixtures and outlets, then call or text me. If I can get there, I will. If I can't, I'll tell you straight away so you can call someone who can.
If the damage goes past the plumbing, I know the water-restoration people to call and I'll help you get them lined up.
"Adam came out on a last minute emergency and took care of us right away! Keeping our home clean like it was his own."
Smell gas? Don't call a plumber first. Leave the house right away, don't turn any lights or appliances on or off, and call 911 once you're outside.
Questions People Ask Before They Call
Will you be the one who actually does the work?
Yes. I'm on every job, and I don't hand work off to subcontractors.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?
No. I'm one person, and I won't promise something one person can't keep. When you call, I'll give you an honest time.
Do you work on oil burners?
No. I'm not licensed for oil, so oil burner service goes to an oil company.
My basement drain is backing up. Can you help?
Drain backups aren't something I handle. Depending on the cause, you may need your septic company or a drain cleaner. If you're not sure which, give me a call and I'll point you in the right direction.
Call or Text the Plumber Who'll Show Up
Tell me what's going on. I'll get back to you with a real time, and I'll be the one knocking on your door.
